What's New For the 2022 Nissan Sentra?

Available on the racy SR trim, Nissan's new Midnight Edition Package gives the sedan a special look. It brings exclusive 18-inch black wheels and black exterior accents. The Sentra's mid-level SV trim also introduces an optional All-Weather package, which adds heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

2022 Sentra Trims & Features

Nissan offers the new Sentra in four trim levels: S, SV, SR, SR Midnight Edition. The budget-friendly base S model brings a lot of value to the table. Standard equipment includes a NissanConnect 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, push-button start, and a Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant.

Featuring upgraded alloy wheels, the SV trim brings more style. It also comes loaded with more premium amenities. Just a few of the niceties include an upgraded 7.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display, a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Drivers seeking a race-inspired look will be interested in the Sentra SR. Sporty appearance upgrades, such as a rear spoiler and 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, help it to stand out. An optional Premium Package brings additional upgrades, including a Bose sound system and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The new Sentra SR Midnight Edition is similar. However, a blacked-out appearance sets it apart.

2022 Nissan Sentra Horsepower

Every new Sentra uses the same fuel-efficient powertrain. Under the hood rests a DOHC four-cylinder engine with 149 horsepower. Nissan's Xtronic continuously variable transmission further optimizes performance and fuel economy. To ensure balanced handling, Nissan equips the Sentra with an independent rear multi-link suspension.
