What's New for the 2021 Nissan Sentra?

In 2021, the Nissan Sentra rolls off the assembly line freshly updated from the 2020 model year. In 2020, the Nissan received a comprehensive redesign that started the eighth generation of the small sedan. This year, the Nissan only gets light upgrades to follow its major interior and exterior design refresh. Technology is a highlight and central focus for Nissan in 2021, which now gives everyone the benefit of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay regardless of the trim level that they choose to get. The top Nissan Sentra trim level, the SR, has some added technology, including an onboard WiFi hotspot and Nissan's connected services that provide remote monitoring and other handy features.

2021 Sentra Trims & Features

All three Nissan Sentra trim levels have a maximum seating arrangement for five people, with two comfortable seats in the front row and a spacious three-seat bench in the back. The base trim, called the SV, has an infotainment system with a 7-inch display screen to start with, while a larger 8-inch display screen is added to the second and third trim levels. New this year, you'll get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay across the lineup. With the SR trim, you can add even more technology, including WiFi connectivity and Nissan's connectivity services with roadside support and other useful tech-based information. The first trim level gets cloth upholstery for its seating material, while simulated leather seats are included on the SV trim, and the top SR trim has leather upholstery. A heated steering wheel is added to the SV, which also has an available sunroof. The sunroof is added as a standard item on the SV, which also gets full LED lighting.

2021 Nissan Sentra Horsepower

All Sentra trims have the same transmission, engine, and drivetrain. An automatic transmission is included across the lineup, and they are all powered by a four-cylinder engine that operates on gasoline. The Sentra has a maximum power output of 149 HP, no matter which trim level you choose to get. Front-wheel drive is Nissan's drivetrain option for all three trims.
