While the GT-R does not get significant changes for 2021, it maintains all of the same features that have made it a popular sports coupe. The GT-R still excels when it comes to performance, which is heightened thanks to relatively new performance modifications from 2020.
Available Features in the 2021 GT-R
There are two trims available for the Nissan GT-R. The Premium is the base trim, and it comes loaded with many features. LED lighting in the front and back ends gives the exterior a head-turning look. The base trim also includes 20-inch wheels and premium Brembo brakes. The interior adds luxury and convenience with leather seats, leather trim accents around the cabin, and heated front seats. The infotainment system features Apple CarPlay integration.
Inspired by racing cars, you'll love the NISMO-tuned installations under the hood, exterior, and cabin. The NISMO trim comes with exclusive styling like red and black accents with Recaro leather seats. Enhanced-performing carbon-ceramic brakes match the carbon roof. Dark gray faux suede accents the instrument panel and steering wheel, and a NISMO tachometer adds a dramatic and cool appeal to the cabin.
How Much Power Does the GT-R Have?
Power is the same for the 2021 GT-R. A 3.8L V6 engine powers the base trim. This engine provides plenty of power, delivering 565 HP and 467 LB-FT of torque. The second engine, which is standard on the NISMO trim, has a maximum output of 600 HP and up to 481 LB-FT of torque. Both engines are paired to a standard 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
