What's New For the Nissan Sentra?

For the 2020 model year, the Nissan Sentra is all-new. This includes an all-new redesigned exterior and interior. There are also a number of features not previously available on the Nissan Sentra. For instance, the 2020 Nissan Sentra adopts the V-sport grille found on the current mid-sized Altima models. The Sentra also receives interior styling cues found on the Altima. This includes a swooping dash design with a wide air conditioning control panel. Also new with the 2020 Nissan Sentra is a flat-bottom steering wheel and a floating touchscreen.

2020 Sentra Trims & Features

For the 2020 model year, the Nissan Sentra is available in three trim levels. The base S trim level comes standard with intelligent auto headlights, a 7-inch touchscreen display, a rearview monitor, and Bluetooth streaming audio. The SV trim includes many features found on the S trim plus the Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button start, dual-zone automatic temperature control, and premium cloth trim. The SR trim comes with many features found on the SV trim plus LED low-beam projection headlights, rear spoiler with LED brake light, intelligent cruise control, and heated front seats. 

What's Under the Hood of the 2020 Sentra?

For the 2020 model year, all Nissan Sentra trims come with one engine: a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder that provides up to 149 horsepower and 145 foot-pounds of torque. All Sentra models have a CV transmission and are front-wheel-drive.

2020 Nissan SentraFor the 2020 model year, the Nissan Sentra comes with a number of standard safety features. On all trim levels, the Nissan Sentra comes standard with the Nissan Advanced Airbag System. This airbag system comes with dual-stage front airbags and seat belt occupant sensors. There are also roof-mounted, side-curtain airbags, and a rollover sensor. Also standard on the 2020 Sentra is Vehicle Dynamic Contol (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), a 3-point seatbelt system, front seat belt load limiters, the LATCH system, child safety rear door locks, zone body construction with front & rear crumple zones, hood buckling creases, an energy-absorbing steering column, steel rear door beams, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Overall, the 2020 Nissan Sentra has one of the best standard safety equipment of any vehicle in its class.
