What's New For The 2019 Nissan Rogue?

After all of the amazing additions Nissan made in 2018, it comes as no surprise if they left the Rogue alone for 2019. That is not the case, however. Instead, Nissan added fantastic features and available options to every trim level for the all-new Rogue.

With a ton of new features becoming standard, such as High Beam Assist and Intelligent Lane Intervention, every level of the 2019 Rogue has the technology of the future in a stylish, fun-to-drive package.

Each of the trims of the 2019 Rogue were designed to give you plenty of space in a compact package. The rear doors are wide-opening (77 degrees) to make getting in and out of the backseat a breeze. There is also a Motion-Activated Liftgate. This comes standard on the SV and SL and is an available upgrade to the S.

Available Trim Levels & Key Amenities

There are 3 trims and 6 configurations available in the 2019 Nissan Rogue. The trims are S, SV, and SL. Each of these trims can be purchased in front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Each version of the Rogue can comfortably seat 5.

In 2019, the S has several new available features. They include heated front seats and side mirrors, integrated LED turn signals, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with matching gear knob. You also get Intelligent Lane Intervention with Lane Departure Warning. The S trim comes complete with SiriusXM AM/FM/Satellite on the sleek-scan radio. You can also expect remote keyless entry and two LCD monitors in the front.

The SV got some new standard features for 2019. Rear Automatic Braking along with a Rear Sonar System help keep you and your loved ones safe. There are some new available features for this trim as well, including 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, ProPILOT Assist, and an electronic parking brake. Drivers of the SV can enjoy heated seats with lumbar support. The mirrors are heated as well.

Finally, the SL got a couple of standard upgrades as well. Every Nissan Rogue SL now comes with ProPILOT Assist and 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Drivers who go with this trim also get a navigation system and front fog/driving lights.

An Impressive Engine, Built to Conquer

2019 Nissan RogueAt every trim level, Nissan went with a 170-hp, 2.5-liter I-4 engine. With this, the Rogue delivers 175 lb-ft of torque. This pairs perfectly with the transmission, which is a 2-speed CVT with overdrive and auto-manual. You are getting an advanced Xtronic transmission with standard Sport Mode and Eco switches in the 2019 Rogue. Out of the front-wheel-drive models you can expect a combined MPG of 29. With the all-wheel-drive Rogue, you will see a combined estimated MPG of 28.

Standard Safety Gear That Is Hard to Beat

2019 Nissan RogueThere are many standard Rogue Safety Shield technologies that are included to keep you and your family safe. The Radar-Based Blind Spot Detection is a particularly impressive and useful feature. Rear Cross Traffic Alert is also available in the 2019 Rogue.

The Nissan Rogue has anti-lock brakes, stability control, seatbelt pretensioners, anti-whiplash head restraints, and a state-of-the-art security system. As for airbags, you get front-impact, side-impact, and overhead to keep you and your passengers safe on all sides.
