The iconic R34 Skyline GT-R from Nissan has been a fixture in the automotive world for quite some time, but it never graced the roads of the United States. This extraordinary supercar made its debut in 1998 and remained on the market until 2002, yet it never received official importation or sales authorization in the U.S. Nevertheless, this didn't dampen the dreams and aspirations of countless enthusiasts who yearned to own one since its unveiling.

The 2023 MotorWeek Drivers' Choice Awards winners have been announced, and the Nissan Z has been named the "Best Sport Coupe." It comes as no surprise to drivers familiar with this vehicle, which blends an iconic style with modern performance. The MotorWeek Drivers' Choice Awards have been done annually for 42 years, earning the respect of car enthusiasts everywhere.

 

The Nissan Z GT4 debuted at the 2022 SEMA show recently. The new vehicle is based on the popular Nissan Z but has been modified for racing. A 3.8-liter V6 engine powers it. The Z GT4 is designed to compete in the GT4 class and is expected to be a popular choice among racers.
 

It's been recently confirmed that Nissan with stop making the Nissan Maxima sometime around the middle of 2023.

End of the Maxima

The current configuration has been on the market for seven or so years, and the current one out is the 8th generation of this particular sedan. One thing that could happen in the future, however, is that one of Nissan's upcoming electric models could end up using this name. That would be something new, however, and not a true Maxima as it exists now.
