2018 Nissan Armada Review

Last year, the Nissan Armada received a complete makeover, gaining a fresh new look, an enhanced interior and greater engine power. It quickly earned the respect of critics, receiving the title of Popular Mechanics' 2017 SUV of the Year and the Texas Auto Writers Association's 2017 Full-Sized SUV of Texas award, among other honors.

For the 2018 model year, the eight-passenger SUV builds on its success with additional enhancements. To start, there's an all-new Armada Platinum Reserve model which gets several unique features, including Black Quartz and premium wood interior trim, 20-inch Dark Chrome wheels, Dark Chrome exterior trim and two-tone leather seats.

Another big update is the debut of Nissan's Intelligent Rear View Mirror (I-RVM), which is standard on the Platinum and new Platinum Reserve. The feature projects backup camera footage onto an LCD screen that's integrated into the rearview mirror. It not only provides a wider view, but also offers clear visibility unhindered by passengers or cargo.

The 8-inch infotainment display, standard on all models, has also been updated. It now features the next generation of NissanConnect and throws in hands-free texting, improved voice recognition and more USB ports as an added bonuses. Standard Features on the Nissan Armada
