Nissan, like other automakers, is making some updates to improve and expand its available vehicle options soon. Nissan's changes include a revamped and expanded fleet that includes introducing new models and improvements to several existing vehicles, including the rugged midsize Frontier pickup truck, Z Proto sports car, Pathfinder SUV, and the Leaf which is an electric sedan. An all-new vehicle from Nissan generating excitement is the Ariya, a crossover SUV that uses electricity for power and features innovative new technology from the automaker.

Nissan's New Era

2022 Nissan Ariya

Nissan's Ariya is a sophisticated crossover SUV that operates using electric power. The Ariya is designed to be equally stylish and fuel-efficient. It has Nissan's cutting-edge safety technology found in the Safety Suite 360 package of advanced safety aids with blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, forward collision avoidance, and more. A horizontal touchscreen display is another notable feature of the Nissan Ariya. The Ariya seats five with generous cargo space as well. It comes with Nissan's newly updated logo, and it is projected to get about 300 miles of electric range. Multiple trims are available for the Nissan Ariya.

Nissan Z Proto

The Nissan 350Z has evolved into the Z Proto. It retains classic sports car proportions, a short rear deck, and a long hood while incorporating classic Z styling elements. The Nissan Z Proto is expected to be powered by a twin-turbo V6 engine producing 400 hp mated with a 6-speed manual transmission.

2022 Nissan Pathfinder

The Pathfinder, one of Nissan's flagship SUVs, gets a significant overhaul for the 2022 model year. A 3.5L engine with six cylinders powers the 2022 Pathfinder. It switches to a new transmission this year, which is a nine-speed automatic. While the Nissan Pathfinder includes a base-level touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, you can get a larger touchscreen with a 12.3-inch touchscreen combined with the standard nine-inch display. The Pathfinder also has an updated exterior for 2022 with a boxier design overall and a more rugged look. The cabin gets a new look as well, including a redesigned steering wheel with a flat bottom and a thinner outer rim for easier grip and a more stylish look.

Nissan Leaf

The Leaf is historically one of Nissan's most popular vehicles. The Nissan Leaf is an electric vehicle that holds five. It comes in two different models called the Leaf and the Leaf Plus. The two models differ primarily in power, with the Leaf Plus offering a more powerful battery. With the Leaf, you'll get about 225 miles of electric range. More standard safety technology is added to the Leaf this year, which is now configured with Nissan's comprehensive Safety Shield 360 package for the 2021 model year.
