Duluth Art Month  

The entire month of May is dedicated to the creative side of the people living in Duluth. You're welcome to attend one of the many art events that we have scheduled throughout the month. This includes interactive art such as tree wrappings, theatre, dance, music, and so much more.

Fridays-N-Duluth featuring the Lantern Parade & DFAL Art Walk

From 6 to 9 PM, there will be food trucks present during the Lantern Parade and DFAL Art Walk. You can grab your free lantern at SKA Academy from 6 to 8 PM. The Lantern Parade will start promptly at 8:30 PM, and all are welcome to attend. The DFAL Art Walk and live demonstrations from local artists will take place at Parson Alley from 6 to 8 PM.

Duluth High School Wildcat Theatre presents: When She Dared

When She Dared is a musical that Duluth High School Senior Hannah Flemming writes. The performance of this musical will take place at 8 PM on Town Green. The story focuses on a 17-year old girl named Charlotte. She is struggling during her teen years as she tries to figure out who she is. Her father doesn't support her passion for music and guitar, which causes friction. You'll experience this story of a young girl walking down the path of self-realization.

Seek Duluth

Set out on a scavenger hunt around the streets of Duluth. You can find the first clue on the City of Duluth Facebook Page. As you travel along, look for signs that explain your next clue. Claim your prize at the end once you've figured out the final riddle.

Duluth Springs Arts Festival

Featuring 60 different painters, sculptors, metalworkers, glass blowers, jewelers, leatherworkers, and crafter, The Duluth Arts Festival is free to the public. There's even a play area for kids, along with festival food and drinks.

Eats and Beats

Local restaurants will be providing food, or you can bring your own snack. Enjoy some live music, interactive art, and dance your cares away in Parsons Alley from 6 to 9 PM.
