This month, there are two great local events in the Atlanta area that you won’t want to miss and Gwinnett Place Nissan is proud to be taking part in both of them. Read on to learn about this year’s Suwanee Fest and the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer!

Suwanee Fest
Town Center Park on 370 Buford Highway
Saturday, Sept. 17 - 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 18 - noon to 5 p.m.

Join Gwinnett Place Nissan at Suwanee Fest – a two-day family-friendly event at Town Center Park. Suwanee Fest kicks off with a parade at the start of the event and offers lots of fun activities, including live music, a fun zone, and a vendor area with lots of hand-crafted items for sale. The fun zone offers rides and inflatables, as well as a superhero photo booth, face painting, kid’s crafts, and humorous performances from the likes of Dr. Magical Balloons, Sir Crazy Pants and others.

Suwanee Fest also features its own 5k/10k that will raise money to provide after school programs and summer camps for underprivileged kids. For full details about the event, visit the Suwanee Fest website.

St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer
Lenox Square on 3393 Peachtree Road
Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016

Participate in the St. Jude Walk/Run at Lenox Square and take action for a great cause. With the help of dedicated fundraisers, families affected by childhood cancer never have to worry about being under financial stress due to hospital bills. In addition, the survival rate for childhood cancer has gone from 20 percent to 80 percent since St. Jude opened over five decades ago, and the hospital’s researchers are still inventing new treatments in a pursuit to one day end childhood cancer once and for all.

If you would like to support their mission, take place in the Walk/Run coming up on Sept. 24. Visit the event website to register and learn more.
