Celebrate our nation’s heroes at Gwinnett County’s upcoming Veterans Day Ceremony in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The annual event commemorates those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to serve our country and protect our freedom.
On Friday, Nov. 11 starting at 11 a.m., the ceremony will be open to all locals who would like to pay their respects to our nation’s most courageous heroes. Along with remarks from Gwinnett County officials, honor guard units from local police departments, emergency services and other public service departments will participate in the observance.
The Veterans Day Ceremony is held at Fallen Heroes Memorial, located on the grounds of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center at 75 Langley Drive. The memorial honors approximately 700 individuals, from recent heroes who fell in the line of duty to Native Americans “who were the first to love this land.”
We honor the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect the home of the brave, and hope you’ll join your community in celebrating these valiant individuals. To learn more about Gwinnett County’s official Veterans Day Ceremony, visit Fallen Heroes Memorial online for more details.
